The VHF Squadron (Veterans Having Fun) is comprised primarily of current and retired military pilots flying homebuilt experimental aircraft. All aircraft are 2 seat tandem tailwheel aircraft commonly referred to as” taildraggers”. The squadron has performed at several flyins throughout the year but Auburn has been our favorite due to the enthusiastic crowd and local support for the veterans involved in this Squadron. The average flight time per pilot exceeds 20,000 hours each with all members having flown some type of fighter aircraft prior to joining VHF. We look forward to performing for the Auburn crowd in 2008.
